Jazz try to avoid sweep tonight

The Utah Jazz host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Semifinals tonight at 8:30 p.m. MT on TNT. The Lakers lead the series 3 games to none. The Jazz need to put it together tonight, obviously, and the keys are to not miss so many free throws as well as limit Kobe Bryant and the Laker big men. Game 3 was a gut-wrenching loss so it's important for the Jazz to get off to a good start tonight. I'll be watching to see how it goes.

Here's how the other series look:

(1) Cleveland Cavliers tied with (4) Boston Celtics 2-2
(2) Orlando Magic lead (3) Atlanta Hawks 3-0
(3) Phoenix Suns beat (7) San Antonio Spurs 4-0

I was really impressed with the Suns getting the sweep, I didn't think that would happen. Steve Nash also had a really gutty performance, playing the 4th quarter with one of his eyes almost swollen shut after receiving an inadvertant elbow from Tim Duncan. The Suns will be a tough out in the Conference Finals. The Hawks have lost all three games by an average of over 20 points and I'm surprised how bad they have looked. They are down by double digits tonight as well in Game 4. Here's the rest of the schedule for the next couple of days:

Tonight:
Game 4 -- (2) Orlando Magic 69, (3) Atlanta Hawks 56, 3:41 remaining in 3rd quarter (TNT)

Tomorrow:
Game 5 -- (4) Boston Celtics at (1) Cleveland Cavaliers, 6 p.m. MT (Series tied 2-2, TNT)
