Hockey thoughts

The (1) San Jose Sharks beat the (5) Detroit Red Wings 4-3 in Game 2 of their second round series last night in San Jose. The Sharks lead the series 2-0. I thought the Sharks responded to adversity well after falling behind a time or two. I didn't watch the whole game, but it looked like the Sharks were playing better hockey the majority of the time. I think they have to be the odds-on favorite to win the Stanley Cup now. I think a lot of pressure was lifted from them after their first round series victory over the Colorado Avalanche after a number of disappointing early round exits in recent years.
