Yes it's true. I'm now on Twitter, although I still don't fully know how to use it. But it seems like a cool way to shoot off thoughts on sports so I'm going to try it. And some of my posts will be right here on the feed on my blog. The address to access my Twitter account is:

I tried for derekpaynesports but it was too long so I'm shortening it. I can even text updates to Twitter which will also appear on here so that should enable more frequent (albeit shorter) thoughts. I will of course continue updating my blog itself regularly as well.

- Welcome to my sports blog! My favorite teams are the Utah Utes, San Francisco Giants, Utah Jazz, Toronto Maple Leafs and Philadelphia Eagles. These teams will likely be mentioned more than others. Feel free to peruse and comment if you feel so inclined. Write your comment and then select from the "comment as" box to post it as anonymous or to leave a name which you can do with the name/URL option even without signing in. You can also sign in and make a comment. I'll try to respond to comments, but keep in mind that I'll be more likely to respond to ones that are polite and have fact-based arguments.
